Sony Ships More than 5 Million PSPs
Sony has shipped more than 5 million PSPs world-wide. 11.2 million games have been shipped out of a catalogue of 48 games. 4.3 million UMD movies have shipped including the 1 million Spiderman 2s bundled with US PSPs. Sony plans to raise production from 3 million to 5 million UMDs a month. How come I don't have a Sony PSP yet? Oh wait, Nintendo DS has better games.Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that 5.07 million PSP consoles have been shipped around the globe so far, with more than half of that number being sold to North America.
