I have been waiting for Sharp to release the SL-Cxxx series in the US for a year. I love the form factor and am very intrigued by the power that a Linux-based PDA could have but Sharp has not come through yet. I have not been willing to pay $800 to get one from Japan.

Sony is releasing the Clie PEG TH-55 with 480x320 screen, WiFi and great PIM apps for the street price of a ~$320. I'm currently using a Tungsten T. what I realy want is WiFi and a decent screen to VNC to my desktop and accesss the web from anywhere in the home of office.

Which would you get and why?

TIA,
Bod

It's a review for the Linux PDA you were thinking about it. Seems like this guy likes it.

I don't think I'll ever buy a Linux PDA, just because there aren't that many applications for it. I like tinkering on PCs, but I want my PDAs just to work.
