The game was released today at 3 pm PST. Anyone else get it? Just wondering what other people's thoughts on all the new changes. Frenchy's has 2 source servers up right now. we had to PW protect one right off the bat, cuz they were so full that none of the frenchy's regulars, admins included, could play on our own servers. I think there are enough servers up now, that both servers are open for public play. If anyone has it and wants to check out our servers, here are the IP addy's of our source servers:

Lots of new changes. a LOT of people are bitching that the guns aren't as accurate, but in my opinion, this is good. the old ones were a bit too accurate. the game now seems more realistic and less like an arcade game. And the graphics!!!!! omg the graphics are absolutely unbelievable. they really outdid themselves in that department. the sound, too is awesome. For the "background" sounds, instead of a .wav file looping of gun chatter, weather effects, etc.... they actually figured out how to take the actual in game gun fire sounds and sorta mute them based on how far away you are from the action. it's sorta hard to explain, but the end effect is really amazing. This game really had me feeling like i was a part of the action and not just playing a video game.
for those who don't have it and want to try, you can get it directly from Valve via their Steam service for like $17, HL2 is not required, i believe, but dont' quote me on that. I heard HL2 wasn't required, but i already had it, so i can't confirm that fact.
