New PC Build System Advice

With the new Intel dual core architecture not coming out till late 2006. I may wait till early 2007 to rebuild a new PC gaming machine. By then all the bugs will be worked out and a good mid-range CPU will be sold.

However all this will change if there is some amazing game that needs more horsepower than my P4-2.66ghz.

My recent upgrade (mobo, ram and graphics + a new case) was spured on partly by a persistant urge to buy more and more computer stuff, but also because my new mobo supports the AMD X2 processors and I intend to upgrade to that as soon as I can afford it, or the price comes down. Hopefully both.
