P4 3.2C @ 4GHz stable and more http://hardware-testdk.com/test_show.asp?id=2532 Ought to tide you over until Intel's Tejas launches in '05. Wonder what the exchange rate is b/t USD and Danish Kroners?

I'm happy with my 2.66ghz. Back in the old days, I needed to be on the cutting edge, I'm getting old.

rgr, my p4 3.2C will suit me just fine for now....don't really have the time/money/energy to mess around with phase change cooling right now.

Agreed. I've got a P4 2.6C and I'm looking to upgrade to a 3.2-3.4C. The Prescott/Tejas roadmap is a complete shambles and there are reports that Intel's entire chip line will be derived from the Pentium M by 2007 (code name "Mermom") which is where they should have gone instead of Prescott. Bottom line is that the Northwoods will be around for a long time.

What I try to do is upgraded when the mhz/ghz doubles. For example I started with a Pentium 60mhz, 120mhz, got the celeron 300mhz which I overclocked to 450mhz, then a 1.3ghz AMD, and now 2.6 ghz P4.
So basically i'll wait for the 5ghz soon. :)

Maybe Tejas can go that high but Intel will shipping them with fire extinguishers.
