I mean it's all great and all to run this image, but other than "gee whiz" factor, there's no apps other than the built-in MAC OS X one.
I'll stick to my Mac Mini. LOL. For now.

Apple is going to have a real tough time stopping hackers from runing OS X on regular PCs when the real MAC OSX Intel machines come out.

I take the apps thing back, there seems to be a lot of Apple apps running on it. Like the Dashboard widgets, Safari, maybe in iLife.

Very interesting. If I could have a system that with a tri-boot Linux/OS X/Windows I'd be laughing!

Why do Solaris if you have Linux? That'd be kind of a waste...You'd find yourself wanting to configure them virtually the same way :)

no other reason other than I could do it.
but by your reasoning, why bother with mac and linux, since they are both technically based off of unix

Personally, as a software developer, I like to know that my programs work on all of the platforms that they're designed for. For me Solaris would probably just be a testing/development platform, but useful all the same. :)
