I dont read the comic books but in the 1989 Batman, Bruce Wayne's parents are killed by an unknown killer.
In Batman Begins, the police find the killer of his parents and someone shoots him . . .(i assume he doesnt die, because he is supposed to be The Joker according to the 1989 film.)
I have heard that the reason he doesnt die is because he had his "lucky deck" with him which stopped the bullet. The joker card in his "lucky deck" becomes the calling card of The Joker.
The "lucky deck" is mentioned in the 1989 Batman . . .
Anyone have any thoughts as to why they changed the story, or actually know the true storyline from the comics?
Or does the comic's storyline change as well? . . .
