everquest 2 and its stupid DVD-ROM :(

ok, here goes.


ok.. i just bought everquest 2 to find out its a DVD-ROM and not a CD-ROM game, and i only have one drive,and it runs CD, then a guy i know said something about a program called daemon tools(/www.daemon-tools.cc) but i am very confused about this.

does anyone know(or any tips would also be greatly appreciated)
what i can do to make it run?

Daemon tools puts a "virtual" dvd/cd rom drive on your harddrive. It's pretty much an emulator that allows the computer to run .iso images as though they were a cd/dvd in a drive. This does you no good, unless you can get someone to burn your dvd into an .iso file that can be read by the virtual drive. best bet is to go out and buy a dvd drive, they are dirt cheap these days. Or find a friend who is about to buy the game who has a dvd drive and tell him/her to buy the cd-rom version and you guys swap.

that's a pioneer dual layer burner for just under $50....a great deal, and pioneer makes pretty good drives.
