If you are serious about your mousing surface take a look at the func 1030:

I have two of the original 1030's. The problem I had with the first one is after about 2 years the rubber frame started to warp and then the surface itself would no longer sit flat.

They just came out with the limited MBA (Machined Billet Aluminum) version which of course should never warp.
One warning though they are pretty pricey:

$24 shipped for the regular version:

$50 for the MBA:

I've tried everglide, ratpadz, etc. and I always come back to the func 1030 for serious gaming. I just really like the feel of their surface.

Figures, newegg is completely sold of the MBA's. I'm on the list to be notified when newegg gets more in. I was considering just ordering from the manufacturer, as it is only about $5 more than newegg, and they have them in stock......

I got my MBA version in this week. I REALLY like it. Ths frame is super solid and should last forever. It also has an improved mouse clip. The pattern looks a bit different on the mousing surface (maybe better for optical?). Either way it works great. The rubber on the back sticks really well. This pad will NOT move once you put it down.
