install latest alpha:
http://palmorb.sourceforge.net/
in palmorb set device: serial/rs232
latest beta:
http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/
Since I have a handpsring visor deluxe with palmOS 3.1 It doesn't work with the usb support. Instead I'm using an irda virtual serial connector. If you have an usb -> irda install this:
http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/irenhanc.html
Only install SerialIrPanel.prc and SerIrCommLib.prc
On the palm there should be a new perference called Serial/IR. Set it to IR.
Disable your on board irda (in the device tree) if you have one. I'm not sure if this is necessary.
finally install the latest beta of this:
http://www.ircomm2k.de/english/
to get a fully functional virtual serial port.
now configure everything to 57600 (base driver for your irda - it's in your device tree for the actual irda device, also in palm orb, and finally smartielcd.
You might also want to install motherboard monitor. Get the latest data files for all nforce chipsets here:
http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6798
For gpu info there is a plugin that works with ATITool.
Overall, it's kind of neat being able to monitor all this info while playing a full screen game to see exactly what your machine is up to under heavy load.
