I've been playing this demo the past couple of days. It sure is a lot of fun; I may have to buy the full game.

I just finished this 2 days ago. I've been working on it on and off for the last month. PC DVD version. I'm really burned out on ww2 shooters but this one was good and different enough to finish

- the gameplay is very unique. Think full spectrum warrior meets call of duty. It's an action game first, strategy and tactics second. You get up to two squads (including tanks sometimes) to command. You have to use supression and flank tactics similar to fsw but this time you actually get to shoot from a first person perspective. The interface is very well done and takes just minutes to get the hang commanding troops and fighting. The levels turn almost into puzzles trying to figure out where to position your fire teams, getting them to supress which targets, or just go for an all out charge.
- check point save system. BLAH!!! It's not too bad since the save points are pretty frequent. I like how if you die 3 times at a check point they give you the option to fully heal yourself, get full ammo, and restore any dead squad mates. It helps keep the frustration down.
- Iron sites are kind of hard to use. recoil is really strong.
- lots of extras get unlocked after completing chapters. It's amazing how accurate the levels are compared to the real life locations.
- if this game was set in modern times it would have been perfect.
