Wallace and Gromit are coming to the big screen in October 2005. You can check out the 3 minute preview. Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter will provide voices. I am psyched as this clay-mation animation is one of my favorites growing up. The action sequences are some of the most hilarious, ingeniously plotted ever. The title is Curse of the Wererabbit, where an evil vegetable thief will be investigated by our favorite characters. Forget Star Wars, forget Star Trek, it's Wallace and Gromit time!

Who else is dying to see this? It's from the same guys who made Chicken Run.

At the risk of offending you, I have to say that I HATE clay animation. Why it gives me a headache! There is just too much flicker.
I last saw Chicken Run, and while a good film, the headache lasted days!
Basically clay animation is just like 3D animation with one exception, with 3D computer graphics you get motion blur! That makes all the difference.
If one was to make 3D animation without motion blur you'd get the same effect.
24 frames per second without motion blur ain't enough! Video games too have no motion blur, but they run at 60 frames (or fields) per second.
Just my opinion! :)

Wow, I never heard of clay animation giving people headaches.
On the same topic, I've been getting headaches with a lot of first person shooters lately like Half-life 2 and Halo.
I'm getting old, I used to play for hours when I was younger with no problem at all.
