Half-life 2: if it EVER comes out. The graphics, AI, and environment interactivity look awesome.

Brothers in Arms: this game came out of left field. There's a movie on Gamespot that shows off how awesome it is. Kind of a mix between Full Spectrum Warrior and Call of Duty with amazing graphics.

My friend is playing the FEAR beta and that engine/game is looking very promising. Doom 3 expansion should be out this week or the next.

This Lego Star Wars (www.legostarwarsthevideogame.com/) game that's coming out is pretty cool, actually. The PC demo is available now but I want to play it on a console, didn't like the keyboard controls much.

But man, the game... is so cool. At least if you're a sucker for Legos and Lightsabers. I think this will be one of the more underrated titles of the year. Seems like there could be a lot going for it beyond what the first level of the demo showed.

I'm most looking forward to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Morrowind was such an excellent RPG that i'm hoping that Bethesda can match or even top it. So far, from what I've seen, the game is going to be freaking awesome!!!

PC version though probably the best, as I can't imagine playing an RPG on a console controller (Xbox 360).

of course, now that the WoW expansion has been officially announced, i can't wait for that!!! level cap raised to 70, 2 new races, a whole new area to explore, flying mounts, gem crafting as a profession, socketed items ala Diablo. Sounds like some good stuff to me!!!!!!

I just played through both parts of the Call of Juarez demo. It was a lot of fun. Refreshing to play a shooter with a different setting for a change. The western setting is neat. You can have 2 six-shooters that are fired independently with the left and right mouse buttons, and you really have to keep an eye on how much ammo you have loaded. The game also has bull whips that you use to swing on objects a'la Indiana Jones, plus other weapons as well. I got to ride a horse in the demo, and you can shoot from the horse, and I'm sure there will be some level in the game that will require that. All in all, i'm really looking forward to getting this game when it's released. EBgames has the release date at 9/5/2006. get the demo if you get a chance, it's a lot of fun!

Anyone played Prey yet? I played the demo and it actually made me a bit sick. I remember hearing people talk about getting sick when HL2 came out, but I was fine playing HL2. I was feeling a bit queasy after playing the Prey demo for just a few minutes.

For 2007, the only game that is a must buy for me are Team Fortress 2 and Rock Band. I am interested in Gran Turismo 5 and Burnout Paradise, but it looks like those are 2008 titles.

Yeah that nano suit sure adds a lot. Switch to speed mode to close in fast, then super jump on top of a building, then super strength punch through the roof (the buildings they show are all fully destructible, you can basically flatten the structure), drop down, and gun everybody down. There are just so many possibilities.

I looked for Guitar Hero III and it was sold out at Best Buys, however I found 1 copy left of the 360 version at the local Target. Although I picked it up but then I put it down. I really want to play "Sunshine your love" by Clapton, but I couldn't pull the trigger as Rock Band is weeks away.

Bought GH3 and GH2 bundles for 360. I picked them up last monday. From what I've read, only the wired gh2 guitar is guaranteed to work with GH3 AND Rock Band.

boy after I pick up rock band that will be around $340 I would have spent on plastic instruments.

PC Gamer reviewed Crysis and gave it a 98.

hmm, so it looks like the best bet is to get GHIII with the controller, and then get Rock Band game separate and the drums separate. I'm not all that interested in the singing part of of Rock Band, so I probably won't get the microphone.

Initially I thought Street Fighter IV didn't look at that good, but the more and more videos I see ... the more I'm looking forward to it.

I mean Street Fighter 2 online is probably the game I play most these days next to Geometry Wars still. Perfect for bite size chunks of 5 minute gaming which seems to be all I have these days.

Mirror's Edge looks cool, although I'm curious how the hand-to-hand combat will feel.

God of War III, but it was just a teaser trailer.

I'm look forward to the new Motorstorm game. Nothing on the Nintendo front grabbed me. The Resistance 2 boss battle was amazing. Gears 2 gameplay looked ok. Killzone 2 looked forgetable gameplay wise, but the graphics looked good.
