Half Life 2?????

Anyone heard anything that remotely resembles an official release date for this game? I really think that Valve is going to alienate their customers. Steam is a complete piece of crap that was released too early and every time they do an update to fix stuff, it creates about 10 more problems elsewhere. Now i think gamers are getting frustrated that they can't play what WAS perhaps the most anticipated video game of all time, but now most people just don't care anymore. I'll admit that I was really excited when they first announced it, but now I'm like, whatever, I guess i'll get it when it comes out, since i did get a free coupon in my 9800XT. Then again, once a definite release date is announced, I'm sure that everyone will get all excited again, at least until the next push back!!!!

The online consensus seems for a summer release, althought with Valve you never know. It's pretty devious of them to blame the hacker attack for the delay last year, when now it's common knowledge the game would of been delayed anyway.

However I'm still waiting to buy this game, the physics and interactivity shown in the movie demos/videos is just so awesome.

Can't wait for this either..

..and I agree, steam is a steaming pile. Wish I could just use Kali like I used to. (hm., some updates suggest I might)

Steam didn't work for me last night, seemed like the Valve servers were down. Grr....
