sorry, no digital camera yet....i'm not much for photography, but i'm planning on getting one sometime soon. any suggestions for a camera that has really good quality, but doesn't cost a fortune???

My last 2 camers have been Canons and I recommend them highly. For beginners, I suggest the highest A-series camera you can afford. It has good medium sized form factor and good image quality. If you want something smaller you can get the S series, if you are more serious get the digital rebel (kind of expensive though).

Make sure you get at least 4 megapixel these days and buy a nice sized flash card (512MB+) too.

The two best sites for camera reviews that I trust are:

1) Dpreview - http://www.dpreview.com/
2) Steve Digicams - http://www.steves-digicams.com/

Rendition, what camera did you use to take these pictures and at what resolution?
The pictures look really clear.

I used a Canon G3 at the full 4 megapixel resolution. I like the camera, but the new Digital Rebel from Canon doesn't cost much more and it has "if you can believe it" much better image quality.

I'd like to get more into digital photography, unfortunately I don't have the cash to splash on a decent camera. I'll start posting once I get one. I'm enjoying your work tho Rendition, keep them coming.

That Ice one is wicked. :D

LOL. The last 2 photos were not mine, just a couple of interesting ones I found surfing the net.

The ones are the first page though were taking by me.
