The Masters

I don't know if any of you guys are golfers or follow the PGA tour, but man, what a Master's tournament this year!!! Probably the best Sunday Master's that I can remember, and capped off by Phil Mickelson birdieing (sp?) the 18th to win by 1 stroke over Ernie Els. It was only the 4th time in the history of the Master's tournament that someone has birdied the final hole to win. And Phil finally got his major championship. After going 0-42 in majors since he turned pro in 1992, to finally winning, and winning with such style, making 5 birdies on the back nine to post a 31, and an amazing 20 footer for birdie and the win, what I feel is the most prestigious of the 4 majors. Anyway, I was just so happy to see him finally get that Major win out of the way, that I felt I should share it with you all, in case you didn't watch it...and if you did watch it, what are your feelings about Phil's big win???

I'm not a big golf fan, but the pictures on the front page of every sports news site and newspaper where the whole crowd has their arms punched up and raised in the background after he won. It's a nice goose bumpy picture indeed.

All I can say is...my Sony 65" HDTV looks really really great watching the Masters... wish I have HDTV recorder.

I'm jealous, my 27" HDTV with now some HDTV programming seems so puny. The 4:3 aspect ratio sure doesn't help either.

LOL it's been over 2 1/2 years since this thread started... but HD golf watching is now in my grasp. Wu-ha!
