I love Best Buy and my significant other seems to like Bed Bath and Beyond.
Starbucks is good for meeting people to hang out.

Bestbuy is so much better than Circuit City. The layout and rows are so much cleaner with better inventory management.

I find Best Buy much better than Circuit City. The Circuit City around here always has a kind of "sleazy" feel to it. One thing about Best Buy though is you really can't depend on the staff to know any technical information. Having done a little research before shopping (and I mean just a little, like just going to the manufacturer site and reading the specs), I almost always end up knowing more than the salespeople.
For computer related stuff, we have a Comp USA and a Staples nearby I like. Comp USA is usually cheaper, & the staff is more knowledgable but the Staples is much closer (only 1/2 mile down the road vs. a 20 minute drive to Comp USA) so I usually end up there if I need something like memory or ink in a hurry.

Nice comments Ophelia, I love the weekend deals at Best Buy in their circulars.

if you live in the western US, Fry's is 10 times better than either Compusa or bestbuy for computer parts and hardware. Better selection, better people working there (the peeps at bestbuy are usually complete morons). I pretty much go to fry's for any computer related stuff i need.

I agree that Fry's is the best, whenever I travel to California I stop in and pick up a computer part, game or gadget. Unfortunately for the rest of country, Best Buy rules the land.
I wish Fry's would expand outside of CA.
