I'm finding that I'm playing my PC more and more and my console less and less. This seems cyclical. Usually when a consoles first come out, the graphics and sound are better than PC for a couple of years. Then the PC surpasses it.

I'm sure when PS3 and X-box Next the cycle will start all over again.

Anyone else find themselves switching back playing PC vs. Console every couple of years because of this?

I've noticed that I've been playing my PC a LOT more lately. I think it's because there's more variety on the PC. Games have mods and and expansion packs, and patches that sometimes add new content. With console games, you are stuck with what you got, and while it's fun at first, after a while it gets old. I've got all three major consoles (Xbox, PS2 and NGC) and I barely touch them, except when i get a new game that I've been anticipating. And sometimes I don't even play the brand new games, for example I got Ninja Gaiden when it first came out, and it has yet to sit in the cd tray in my Xbox. I'm too addicted to Day of Defeat and City of Heroes.
