Eessh... this thing will probably cost an arm and leg anyway. Me like my Gameboy Advance SP.
Who would buy this thing if it cost over $200? Haven't we seen this movie before?
Expensive handheld (Gamegear, Atari Lynx, TurboGraphx) vs. Gameboy?

From what I've heard from my sources in Sony the price point is the main sticking point. I think they're trying to decide what features are worth paying for, and what to drop.
Anything about $150 is WAY too much, and from what I've heard they're pretty far above that.

I'll put my line in the sand at $200 buckeroos.

Heh, I win. Looks like $150 is the likely pricepoint.
I will accept my prize in bourbon, thank you.

GameInformer has a good overview on what is known about the Sony PSP.

I'm guessing it will be at least $299.. if the Xbox and PS2 debuted at this price, I can't see how the PSP will be any cheaper and can easily imagine it starting at $399.

Just for reference, many sites are posting the Nintendo DS at $199 currently. Sony's will probably be AT least $249 or $299 one would think.
