I was looking at the dell w1700 lcdtv. Anybody know if xbox and lcdtv work well together?

From my experience LCDs generally don't work well with console games because the fixed resolution doesn't match with console's lower resolution, so there are scaling issue.

You're better off getting a regular CRT or even a project TV (don't let it burn-in tho).

What kind of budget you have? What kind of space considerations?

I'm picky about my displays, and find that even many projection TVs wash out color and sharpness. I like to stick to flat screen HDTVs.

CRTs still rule the roost for gaming. Plasma's look great, but have screen burn-in issues.

I was using a rear projection 55" HDTV (Philips) for a long time with my XBox and loved it... I would imaging that the LCD TV's would suffer the same problems that are plaguing the Flat Screen monitors for PC's, the motion blur on an Xbox game would probably be horrible.
