Costco TV Price Check
I went to the local Costco just now and jotted down these prices. The last time I checked was February 21st, 2008.

TH50PE700U 50 inch 1080p Plasma $2199.99 - down $100 from February
TH50PC77U 50 inch 720p Plasma $1399.99 - down $50 from February
TH58PE75U 58 inch 720p Plasma $1999.99 - down $400 from February
Sony KDL52WL135 52 inch 1080p 120hz LCD - $2999.99 - same price
KDL46WL135 46 inch 1080p 120hz LCD - $2499.99 - New
KDL46S3000 46 inch 720p - $1399.99 - New
Sharp LCC5262 52 inch 1080p LCD - $2199.99 - down $300 from February
That 42 inch 1080p Panasonic plasma for $1300 seems like a great "sweet spot" deal to me. It is probably because the next gen 80 series models are now out and Panasonic wanted to clear the old inventory. Pricing from just 5 weeks ago continues to decline rapidly, especially at the larger screen sizes. It's a great time to be a flat plan HDTV buyer indeed. - Discuss
