Sony Testing Anti-CD Ripping Technology

Sony BMG is testing a technology that prohibits consumers from making multiple copies using CD burning drives. The "First4Internet" protection lets users make a copy in a DRM-enabled Windows Media audio format. However the new burned CD cannot be copied beyond that. Let's count the seconds before this new copy protection is hacked. One, two, three. Done. Why do these companies even bother? Do you remember that previous old CD protection that companies paid millions for and it was defeated by pressing the shift key? Lol.
