Playstation 3 Not a Game Machine?

Ken Kutaragi, the father of the Playstation, is going around saying the PS3 is not a game machine. Whatever. He's also trashing talking by saying Xbox 360 is more like Xbox 1.5. Bring it on Sony, bring it on. I love the comment though on how the PS3 will let you rip DVDs onto it. That's a cool feature for movies on demand, home-style.
"The PlayStation [3] is not a game machine. We've never once called it a game machine," stated Kutaragi at the beginning of his latest interview. He went on to say that Microsoft's new game console is more of an "Xbox 1.5" than a new console, in the sense that it seems like an extension of the original Xbox. By using the Cell's security feature, users will be able to rip DVDs that include copyright protection and lay it in the storage area to refine its video quality." Source: Gamespot [Discuss]
