Mac Mini USB 2nd Display Video Card?

Tritton has announced a USB 2.0 to SVGA adapter that lets users of laptops and even the Mac Mini display and connect a second monitor in resolutions up to 1280x1024 with 16-bit color. Pretty cool idea if it works and the price of $99 isn't too crazy.

TRITTON Technologies, a provider of advanced networking, storage and peripheral products, announced its newest, enhanced SEE2, said to be the industry's first USB 2.0 to SVGA adapter. The $99 MSRP SEE2 adapter now supports higher resolution 1280 x 1024 video with up to 16-bit color, up from its previous maximum resolution of 1024 x 768. The SEE2 also supports a mirroring capability in addition to extending the desktop.
