MP3 Player Survey
According the a survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project of 2200 people, 11% of the country or 22 million Americans own an MP3 player. 20% of people under the age of 30 own one. About 1 in 7 own one from the ages of 30 to 48. 25% of owners have incomes of $75,000 or more a year.These figures make you think that the MP3 player and the iPod are truly the Walkmans of the 21st century. In addition there is 89% of the population to go to expand market share. I'm happy dancing along with my iShuffle, and I'm sure Apple's new iconic device will go a long way into capturing more MP3 virgins.
