Craigslist Killing Newspapers

According to InternetWeek, Craigslist.org is killing traditional newspapers by taking away ad and classified revenue. A consulting firm estimates the site cost San Francisco area newspapers $50 to $65 million in help wanted ad revenue since it launched in the mid 1990s. The site now is 25% owned by eBay and gets 1 billion pageviews a month.
