AOL Spam Down 75%

AOL announced today spam email to its users is down 75% vs. a year ago. In November the company received 2.2 million complaints daily for spam, which is better than 11 million the year before. Spam uses up 83% of all internet traffic and wastes up to $500 million in bandwidth costs. AOL spam filters blocked 1.2 billion spam emails every day vs. 2.5 billion a year ago. I'm sorry AOL, but 2.2 million spam complaints every day is still a problem in my book.
