Walmart Sells Linux Laptop for $498

Walmart today started pre-selling what it says is the cheapest laptop available with an operating system and office suite. The Balance Linux Notebook computer comes with:

-Via C3 1 ghz processor
-14" LCD panel display
-Lindows/Linspire version 4.5 operating system
-128MB of memory
-30GB hard-drive
-CD-ROM drive
-4 USB 2.0 ports
-3 month FREE CNR service for automatic software updates
-OpenOffice.org office suite
