Microsoft's Google Killer Search Engine

Microsoft kept true to its word and launched a beta version of their new search engine using their own technology. The new engine indexes more than 5 billion pages and offers answers to factual questions using its Encarta encyclopedia. Google upped the ante by saying it doubled its index to over 8 billion pages.
