Microsoft vs. Sony vs. Nintendo
With the huge success of Halo 2 and the Xbox hardware & software dominating the charts in the past six months, anyone care to think what will happen in the next-generation console war?
In the current generation I bought two PS2s and then sold them on eBay. Bought and sold a Gamecube too. Both platforms had exclusives that I enjoyed, but after a while I got jealous of Xbox LIVE and the better ports done on Xbox. So a few months ago, I bought an Xbox. Although I'm scratching my head because after next few months, there is going to be a dearth of new releas as Xbox 2 is slated to come out in late 2005.
What do you guys think? Xbox 2 with Rare and Bungie? Nintendo making a come back? Or does Sony continue to dominate in 2006 with PS3. I have to admit at the beginning of this cycle, I had no idea Nintendo would flounder and Xbox would be a solid #2.
How will Nintendo differentiate itself from Xbox since both will use the same ATI graphics hardware and IBM PowerPC cpu? Let us discuss.
