Creative Announces Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro
It's been a long time since Creative has launched a new soundcard. The new Audigy 4 Pro seems to be for the music home entertainment ethusiast. No real feature strikes my fancy. It has 6 stereo inputs / outputs, karaoke vocal remover, THX, EAX 4.0, and two 1394 firewire ports.
I think Creative will win the FirstAdopter award for most glacial technology market leader in terms of innovation. Good thing Intel is attacking the company from underneath with new motherboard audio technologies. If it wasn't for that, we'd still be paying $100-300 for the last decade's sound technology.
