Gigaom.com has a interesting piece on Tivo's intentions to be a major player in the digital media hub world vs. Microsoft and other consumer electronics goliaths. As a Tivo-holic, I wish them the best. It's going to be tough though fighting everyone including the cable companies and their lame free PVR functionality.
