FreedomPop Launches Privacy Phone with 128-bit Encryption
FreedomPop is launching a new smart-phone that gives users 128-bit encryption for their VOIP voice calls and text messaging. It also has secure internet browsing through a VPN.
The actual underlying phone is old, a Samsung Galaxy II, however the offering should be attractive for consumers that can’t stand the prospect of the government snooping on them.
The phone will cost $189 with 500MB of data at $10/month. Source: Light Reading
