Warren Buffett’s Tepid Appraisal of IBM CEO
One common pattern I’ve noticed is when Warren Buffett is asked about any employee that currently works for him or any CEO of a company he owns, he usually effusively praises him/her. Today Buffett was asked about the CEO of IBM on CNBC.
That isn’t exactly the highest of praise. Making excuses for her on the business transition and saying she will be judged on her record five years from now. The other telling point is he conspicuously points out he hasn’t bought much more shares of IBM “not very many”.
